Guarana is a plant that grows as a vine in the Brazilian Amazon forest and in Central America. Its name is derived from its first users, the Guarani Indians. Its fruit has found extensive use in traditional herbalism as a natural stimulant. Guarana is an excellent source of caffeine. Due to its characteristic sour taste, it goes well with a variety of additives. It can be found in popular fusions with yerba mate, making the infusion refreshing and providing a solid dose of energy!
